Venom's "Welcome to hell" and "Black metal" have changed the world of heavy
metal, evil forces have risen to the surface. Last year "At war with Satan" still
mantains that dark power and recent "Warhead" single is one of the heavier
songs ever written. Sweden's Bathory tracks on "Scandinavian Metal Attack" LP
have pushed the limit further, darkness and evil have spread an even more
dangerous drape. In Germany young Sodom, after two raging demos have issued
"In the sign of evil" EP, pure occult speedy sheer brutality. In U.S. Possessed
and Mantas have released some interesting rehearsal tapes and demos, some
darkened obscure and violent death metal bands to watch out. Italy's Bulldozer
have produced a very interesting demo where Venom influence pairs with the
Motorhead one. While in Switzerland pure hell has been raised. Mighty
Hellhammer, after 3 incredible demotapes, have unleashed two new tracks on the
"Death Metal" sampler and the "Apocalyptic Raids" EP, the most devastating,
darkest, ugliest pieces ever written in the history of heavy metal, though the
Discharge influence cannot be denied. Their brutality and odd harmonies will
never be equaled.
BARBARIAN are born to follow the same path where only death counts and heavy
metal springs from the deepest graves to crush the human moral.

Breathe the smell of death, maniacs...
The Barbarian fury has started to hit the stages countrywide, be prepared for
the ultimate metal assault because there’will be no place for the weak.
Most important, we have finally recorded six invocations in praise of death,
including "Serve in heaven, reign in hell", "Rain of fire", "Human pest",
"Ad mortem festinamus", "The hammer and the anvil" and "Worms". A cassette
will be issued in short, only 99 copies for the evil ones who could handle
such a burning heavy metal holocaust. Then time to look for a label willing
to taste some hell with Barbarian.
