Nine Inch Nails February Shows in Tokyo

Trent Reznor and his new crew blew away Fuji Rock last year, musically as well as visually with their amazing stage design (watch it here). On Christmas Eve they announced that they will be coming back to Japan for two smaller club shows in Tokyo:

2014.02.26 – Tokyo Studio Coast

Studio Coast has a capacity of approx. 2400 people. Nothing, for a metropolitan area with 30 million inhabitants like Tokyo…

Tickets will first only be available to Creativeman 3A members, in a few days. Regular sale through eplus, lawson ticket and ticket pia will start on January 18th, 10am, (Japan time). The servers will break down for sure since ticket sale for Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan starts on the same day…

If you have trouble navigating through the Japanese site and/or don’t have a Japanese credit card or address, check out our ticket service. Make sure to contact us as soon as possible, if you want to purchase through us, as we might be able to participate in the pre-order lotteries.

There will only be one ticket category: general admission tickets (with a ticket number which determines the order of entry)

Official price: JPY 9,000 (excl. one compulsory drink ticket which will cost JPY 500 at the doors)

короче проще и дешевле в Токио сгонять, чем ждать до лета 2014 и ехать в Питер или Москву, можно и в Тай еще завернуть, но лучше в Японию все же

к слову, именно этой зимой я открыл для себя творчество NIN. много лет ходил вокруг да около и наконец решился плотно заслушать.
я остался в восторге от Pretty Hate Machine c Broken, но совсем не понял The Downward Spiral.
The Fragile и With Teeth пока прослушал по разу и тоже не сильно въехал, буду лечить сие переслушиваниями :smile: и двигаться дальше.
очень был удивлен почему-то, услышав Copy Of A в FIFA 14
вообще, конечно, очень радует то, что у Трента на любом релизе есть хит, за который зацепишься и забываешь на время про остальные треки :up:

у меня так с downward spiral. обожаю его. вот ощущения не менялись тупо с года его выпуска. концептуальная глыбища :pray::pray::pray:

Годный релиз :up: Понравилось, что почти каждый трек отсылает к разным периодам творчества Резнора: Dear World - это современный NIN, The Idea of you - это Year Zero, Burning Bright - это Broken, She's Gone Away - ближе к The Fragile.
Ну это я очень условно сравнил, если что. Просто не покидало ощущение, что я слушаю сборник вещей с разных альбомов
 
Вот с этой версии "Hurt" очень торчу. Эмбиент подлоги делают всё.
остальное творчество решительно не шарю :stupid:

Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor Debuts New Song “Green Lines”

Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are ‘performing’ nightly at Bansky’s Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem, Palestine. Their new song “Green Lines” was written for its player piano.

Nine Inch Nails, along with film composer Hans Zimmer, are performing pre-recorded gigs in the piano bar of Banksy’s Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem.

The hotel’s website states, “Britain got its hands on Palestine in 1917 and the piano bar is themed as a colonial outpost from those heady days. It is equipped with languid ceiling fans, leather bound couches and an air of undeserved authority. Guests can peruse a collection of Banksy artworks that include vandalised oil paintings and statues choking on tear gas fumes. Warm scones and freshly brewed tea are served daily on fine bone china and the Walled Off Salad should not be missed.”

It later says, “And through it all the piano plays – by itself. Our remote controlled mechanical baby grand has been programmed with a bespoke score of contemporary arrangements, plus every night it will play back a concert recorded exclusively for the hotel. We start our residency programme with 3D who presents the greatest hits of Massive Attack played with three hands. Concerts start every night from 9pm. Upcoming artists include Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Flea and Hans Zimmer.”
