Ruth’s Hat

Ruth’s Hat plain and simple is ROCKIN’ BUBBLEGUM POP! These boys from Michigan write amazing songs using fast crunchy guitars, a speedy beat, syrupy melodies, and great layered harmonies. The five songs on this slab of vinyl will be sure to put you in a mood to dance around the room. The band’s hybrid style of combining a prominent oldies radio station with the frenzied volume of modern day punk pop will be sure to have you singing these songs for days after your first listen.

Influences The Beatles, The Mr. T Experience, The Ramones, Buddy Holly, Green Day, The Who, Weezer, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, The Beach Boys, Smoking Popes, Redd Kross, The Figgs, The Replacements, Hank Williams, Link Wray, Sloan, The Old 97s, The Hives, The Devil Dogs, Fountains of Wayne, Nerfherder, Teenage Fanclub, and Poison.

Что будет, если смешать рок-н-рол с олдскульным поп панком? Думаю, получится Ruth’s Hat.
Очень приятная музыка с минимум аккордов и отличным настроением. Рекомендуется к прослушиванию.
