Одна из самых знаковых сайко комманд Ирландии. Существуют с 1986 года. В 1988 записали дебютный альбом "Mystical Madness" , который был тут же издан на европейском лейбле Kix 4 U и восторженно встречен публикой. Что примечательно, их 1й альбом никогда не издавался в Ирландии. Затем последовали гастроли, а в 1990 группа решила сказать "стоп" и прекратить деятельность. Спустя 10 лет с ребятами связалcя Дойль из Klingonz , сообщив. что их первый альбом до сих пор пользуется некоторой популярностью, а оставшиеся копии раскупают по завышенным ценам. Получив должную порцию мотивации, Spellbound собрались в обновленном составе, провели ремастеринг первого альбома , освежив звучание и предав ему более современный лад. А затем принялись издавать альбомы: "Fistfull Of Spells" (2005), "Eleven Deadly Sins" и Stir it Up (2011). Сейчас ребята снова на плаву и участвуют в концертной деятельности при первой возможности.
Spellbound was formed in 1986 by brothers Frankie and Adrian Hayes, who came from Bray, Co Wicklow, 15 miles south of Dublin City. Unlike other Irish bands of their time, Spellbound decided to head directly to mainland Europe, where their 1988 debut album ?Mystical Madness? was very well received and notched up many thousands in sales (amazingly, that album was never released in their home country). The boys blazed a brief trail across the rockabilly and psychobilly festivals of Germany and Scandanavia before, it seemed, vanishing back into the ?Hellfire? woods of County Wicklow.
Tentative moves toward a re-union were made in 2003 when guitarist friend Doyle (Klingonz, Guitar Slingers) contacted the Hayes brothers to inform them that copies of ?Mystical Madness? appeared to be changing hands on the internet for large sums of money and suggested he would sit in on some gigs, if they could find a bass player. They drafted in Simon Farrell (ex- Sharkbait, Scared Stiff) and this was the line-up that appeared at Die-In-Style?s ?Kings of Psychobilly 3? At Speyer, Germany in November 2003. Unfortunately, both Doyle and Adrian were forced to drop out soon after due to existing commitments, and were replaced by Dave Mc Donald (ex- Kroozers) and Brian O Higgins (a drummer Simon worked alongside while touring with American rockabillies The Blue Moon Boys
2005 saw the release of ?A Fistful of Spells?, the band?s long awaited follow-up to ?Mystical Madness?. It also marked Spellbound?s very first appearance at Calella?s Psychobilly Meeting.
?Eleven Deadly Sins? was the band?s third studio album, and was released in 2007.

Скажу так: первый альбом - просто каноничнейший сайко старой школы. Любители оценят. А тем , кто не очень знаком с олдскульным сайко или просто интересно, с какого альбома начать, железно рекомендую послушать "Eleven Deadly Sins" . По моему скромному мнению, этот альбом достоин считаться одним из лучших в современном сайко. Чего только кавер на Иоганна Себастьяна Баха стоит
